If you are an Angus breeder in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and northern Iowa, the Midwest Angus News becomes an important source of information about the Angus breed. The newsletter is published five times a year to coincide with key decision making times for breeders. The Midwest Angus News covers association meetings, state and breeder sales, junior activities, junior field days, state fair competitions and regional events. It also includes key national news that is of interest to Angus breeders.
Annually in September, the Midwest Angus News prints and distributes a directory/map of breeders in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. This unique format lists breeders and phone numbers as well as a map that pinpoints the breeder’s location by county. The directory/map is supported with business card advertising from leading breeders in the four-state area.
Because it is distributed only to upper Midwest Angus breeders and cow/calf producers who primarily use Angus, advertising rates in the Midwest Angus News are quite economical. Advertising deadlines are 30 days prior to publication. Issues appear in February, March, April, September and November.
